(Simply The Best) Danielle C. :) Carl C. webmaster@hampton-ridge.com ASSUMPTIONS: - You will ALWAYS replenish health with a medkit when your health falls below 50 - You will always collect weapons and anything else from thugs you have killed (thus keeping ammo maximized up to 200) - You will always reload after a lull in battles (black button) =================================================== Level 1: Townsend Museum =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid civilian casualties - Rescue Von Laben - Rescue Lucy McClane (your daughter) You start outside the museum - make your way down the driveway. It's amusing to talk to the officers & ladies along the way. Make sure you pick up a medkit by the second lady & officer (on the left). Go talk to Al when you get to the museum. Eventually gunfire will erupt and you can make your way in. Make your way to the left of the left staircase to pick up another revolver from the slain officer on the ground. Enter the building and take out thug at right end of hall. Go right, building entrance collapses prohibiting exit, and another goon comes out left-side doors. Take him out and enter doorway. Take out two thugs at reception desk. Prepare to cap a few on the balconies above - sometimes directly across from you, sometimes above you. Remember to get the goons ammo and reload [Black]. Get medkit from behind the reception desk. Make your way to the back of the room and ascend the stairs. There will be a thug in each doorway, start by capping the guy to the right at the top of the stairs. This often triggers the others to come out of the balcony doorways at the front of the building. Proceed down balcony walkway towards front of building, capping any bad guys along the way (should only be two - one on each side). Enter left doorway and go through glass door. Proceed to left into a small room. This triggers a hostage situation. One hostage - two goons. Take out the two goons being careful not to shoot the hostage. Get the goon's 9mm guns. Use these, they seem to be more accurate. Exit the double-doors. Proceed down hallway to left. Immediately, two more thugs start shooting at you. Take out these two and make your way towards the outdoor balcony. As you near the end of the hallway, take out a goon to your left, and then another down the hall to your right. Occasionally you can pick off a few more on the patio below while you are up here. Grab a medkit from the wall near the far end of the balcony by the stairs. Make your way down the stairs, shooting any more thugs you may encounter along the way (at least two - one across the patio and another under the stairs). Grab the Sniper Rifle off the boxes by the bottom of the stairs and a medkit from under the stairs. After eliminating all the bad guys, Dick Thornberg (reporter) enters the scene. Talk to Dick and eventually doors behind you will open. Make sure to protect him from harm - get the two bad guys that come out the doors behind him, and use your body as a shield by getting between them and "Dick". Enter the next room. Take out the one bad guy in the next room. Continue through to the room where Von Laben is being held. Take out the three thugs who come at you. Cap the remaining guy holding Von Laben. Get the sub-machine gun. Talk to Von Laben. Exit through double doors behind Von Laben. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Rescue Von Laben Make your way to outdoor balcony. Shoot guy smoking cigarette and get his machine gun. Make your way to grounds below capping bad guys out there. As you enter the grounds and collect weapons, start focusing on your right where a breezeway/pavilion is. More bad guys are over here. Make your way to the back of the pavilion and shoot more thugs. Get the medkit on opposite side where the majority of the thugs are and a helicopter departs. After eliminating all immediate bad guys, proceed to upper-left of area to find the thug holding Lucy. Pop him with the 9mm (sub-machine gun is not accurate enough). OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Rescue Lucy McClane (your daughter) OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Avoid civilian casualties END LEVEL =================================================== Level 2: Hollywood =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Non-hostile Casualties - Assist the police Proceed down the sidewalk to the corner and turn right. You can go right past the storekeeper yelling and shooting - he's not a bad guy. He's firing at a bad guy who just robbed him! His name is "Fat Larry". Optional - enter Fat Larry's and talk to the people. All have something interesting to say. Especially the fat dude. The girls are always a treat. Get the medkit off the counter. Optional - enter the alley and catch a few familiar faces getting it on. The dialogue is kinda funny. Continue down the sidewalk until you reach a police scene at the bank. There are several thugs to your right to shoot. Sometimes it is easier to run past the scene and re-approach from the other side. Make sure to only shoot the bad guys. Collect their guns and make your way inside the bank. OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Assist Police Talk to the people inside and to the left. You call an ambulance for the injured person. Go up the stairs and as you hit the first landing, a hostage is walked past the top of the next flight of stairs. Take out the thug who has a gun on him, and make your way up to kill at least two more - one on your left, and another which will either be in the room to your left or somewhere on the floor. Proceed to the bank vault across from the room and take out another thug, then another in the office across from the vault behind the desk. Jump to the top of the file cabinets in the office and go out the window. [First Checkpoint] New Objectives: - Interrogate Gang Members - Apprehend Fat Larry's Assailant Turn to your right and proceed down alley. Note broken ladder on wall to your left - this is where Fat Larry's Assailant escaped to, but you need to take care of this hostage business first. Another alleyway goes to your left just a short ways up. Go into STEALTH mode by pressing Y and sneak up to the short wall blocking you from view by the three gang members. Go back into attack mode by pressing Y and take out the center gang member first, then the guy to his right, then the last guy. Continue back down the alleyway and you come upon a dumpster in front of a small roof. Jump on dumpster, then on roof, then on next ledge. Jump across alley to the other ledge. Proceed back to center alley and jump across it at the point nearest the hostage. Go around to where the ladder was that you saw below. A door is across from it - go in it. Go down the stairs to the first landing and prepare to take out a goon at the bottom of the next flight of stairs. Enter the room and make your way to the hallway on your left, taking out the goon who show up at the end of the hall again. Go to the next room and exit it to the streets. Take sidewalk to left staying close to the construction fence on the left. Go all the way down to the end and activate the lever of the dump truck looking forklift to kill a few thugs in the pit. Then pick off three thugs across the street to the left of the record store. Enter the record store. Talk to the clerk at the counter and he hints there is a gang member hiding under the counter. Be prepared to pop HIM when he pops up. OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - APPREHEND FAT LARRY'S ASSAILANT Jump over counter and get the Access Card from thug. New Objective: - Infiltrate Gang Meeting Go into the back room, exit the back of the room to the back alley. Take out four more bad guys including one in the back of a semi truck trailer. Get the Medkit from the trailer. Go back into the record shop and go out the front door. Go back up the sidewalk to where the goons were in the clothing store. Go into STEALTH mode by pressing Y, make sure you only have the single 9mm gun because you're going need to grab the guy closest to you. Walk into the store through the broken storefront window. Walk up behind the man admiring the clothes and you will see PRESS GRAB when you are close enough. PRESS A! You will grab him by the neck and hold your gun to his head. Walk over to grab the other goon's guns when they set them down. When you have all their weapons, press A again to release your goon and they all kneel on the ground to await a police escort. Interrogate them for as much info as you can get. OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Interrogate Gang Members OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Avoid Non-hostile Casualties Get the gang clothing (for a disguise) from the display rack on the floor across from the check-out counter. Go into the dressing room and pop the goon in the second-to-last fitting room. Sneak a peek at the lady in the next room to the right. Enter any available changing room and select the disguise from your inventory. Exit through the front of the store and proceed all the way down the sidewalk to the left and go into the doorway in the parking lot. You're going to attend a gang meeting at the Pool Hall! Enter the pool hall door and make your way to the top of the staircase. Talk to the doorkeeper, show card, talk to him about delivering for the boss "Sergio". He lets you in. OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Infiltrate Gang Meeting Go into the club, go straight back to the bar and grab a medkit. Crouch down and be prepared for a gunfight to erupt. Take out anyone that moves. Make your way to the pool table and note the painting on one of them. Get the Cinema keys from one of the thugs near there. New Objective: - Check out Chinese Cinema Exit the Pool Hall and go back to the streets, prepare to take out three Goons in the parking lot outside the Pool Hall. Another two further down as you progress down the sidewalk towards the construction pit again. When you reach the pit, try to jump across. If you don't make it, just jump repeatedly towards the open/unfenced area and shoot the three or so goons waiting for you. Enter the Chinese Cinema. OBJECTIVE COMPLETED - Check out Chinese Cinema END LEVEL =================================================== Level 3: Chinese Cinema =================================================== Objectives: - Track Down Stolen Art - Avoid civilian casualties - Rescue any Employees Enter the lobby by breaking through one of the red lattice-like side panels. If you open the doors it triggers a booby-trap. Talk to the "greeter". Jump the concessions counter and open the door behind it. Take out several thugs. Exit back door and go through double-doors taking out four more of the goons. Circle back and go up the left staircase. Take out goon guarding door and smoking a cigarette. Go through the door to the upper lobby and pop two more thugs. Enter men's room to pop two more. Double-doors are locked, so go out opposite end and cap the guy on the other side. Go back downstairs and go all the way through to the double doors in the downstairs smoking area. Enter the theatre by the right side double doors. [First Checkpoint] Your presence eventually triggers about five goons to approach at the end of the hall. Take them out. Grab the crossbow next to the trash can, and a medkit to the right. The crossbow is probably only useful for long distance targeting as it has a scope. Activate the scope by holding left trigger - Zoom in/out with up/down on D-Pad. Continue the rest of the way into the theatre. You can try out the crossbow on two goons - one each in the two VIP boxes in the theatre up on left and right. Take out a third down near the stage. Go down by the stage and jump into the organ pit onto the organ (the board will just break). Drop to floor and pick up the "Enforcer" gun. Exit the pit from either side and immediately circle around and go back into the theatre audience area - the maze of hallways are empty, all doors are locked and there is no goodies to get. Shoot the banner anywhere and one side will detach. Climb the banner to the top seating section. Take out two goons and collect their weapons. Go out the RIGHT SIDE SINGLE DOOR. Make your way up the hallway and note the door on the right. Two goons are talking in there. Take them out. Go down the hallway to the next door. BE PREPARED TO TAKE OUT TWO GOONS AS SOON AS YOU OPEN THE DOOR! If you don't, they go to a room and alert a guard to take out some hostages. Get the medkit on a table in the lunchroom. Door on right has a hostage situation. Open right of two doors and immediately shoot first thug, then second on your right. Talk to hostages. Go back to lunchroom and open door on left now, go straight to next door, up the stairs and to projection room. Shoot thug holding old man hostage. Throw power switch on wall to turn on organ. Exit either door and make your way back to the organ pit. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Rescue Any Employees Get on organ platform at far left. Throw on power and ascend upwards. When you reach the top, carefully make your way to organ center and jump up on stage. Go around the backdrop on the right side to get a medkit on the floor there. Go to back wall and shoot at the two sandbags holding a false wall in place. Enter the passageway and proceed all the way to a door. Enter the storage area taking out the two goons right in front of you. Take out a third behind the door. Proceed to the doorway and go down hall. Door at end is locked, so enter room at right. Time to go crawling through vents again! Crouch, shoot out vent, enter. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Avoid civilian casualties END LEVEL =================================================== Level 4: LA Subway =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Civilian Casualties - Collect A Painting As Evidence - Rescue Subway Worker Hostages - Locate A Mercenaries' Laptop Crouch and crawl through the remaining vent shafts and shoot out a vent at the end to exit into the sewers. Proceed to your left where you'll encounter 3 guards near the right hand turn. Take them out and enter the door at the left end of the turn. Proceed down the hall and turn right. Shoot out vent and enter. Crawl through to a turn - note the subway is across from you. Don't want to go that way, so turn right and shoot a thug through the vent. Exit the vent and shoot other thug up stairs to your right. Collect the painting rolled up on the floor. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Collect A Painting As Evidence Go up stairs to the room and collect a medkit from between the two generators. Go back to doorway the subway tunnel doorway but don't go out yet. You collected Rigel Nightvision goggles from the thugs. You can either wear these or do the next steps without them - whichever works for you. I prefer not to use the night vision. Time your entry into the subway so you go in right after a train has gone past - be careful not to exit to soon or or hit the end of the train and die. Proceed right as quickly as possible and duck into the lit alcoves. Wait for the next train and repeat. You'll eventually come to an alcove (just before an illuminated section) with a stairway at the back. Take the stairway up and to the left to a landing where three guards are stationed. Take them out but get cover immediately after because a guard across the tracks has a chain-gun and shoots at you. Time it so you rush the railing at the front of the landing when you have the cover of passing trains and prepare to take him out. You need to be that close to get auto-aim on the guy. With all guards eliminated, go down the stairs to cross the tracks timing it right after each train goes by. If you're feeling ambitious you can take the opportunity of your pause in the center to track down the sidewalks and collect any goodies down there. Generally there is only a grenade belt on one sidewalk. Once on the other side, you trigger more guards who show up at the center section. Shoot any who aren't killed by the trains (at least one always is). Grab a medkit off the boxes before taking up the big chain/turret gun and blasting the door open. Proceed down to a storage area and take out the one guard. Down the hole, John! In the Sewer tunnels, you will take the door straight across from you, which triggers a movie scene showing dialogue between Frontier (has-been actor recently cut from starring role in Galaxy movie) and Christophe Von Laben. [FIRST CHECKPOINT] New Objective: - Find/Apprehend Christophe Von Laben - Find Two More Paintings Continue through door directly across from ladder, and just keep going straight through the doors until you come to one which won't open. Turn and take the door to your right. Proceed until you get into a room with another hole in the floor. Down you go again. Grab the medkit. Crouch, and crawl through the open sewer pipe. At the other end, pop a goon before exiting. Exit the pipe. Take out two more goons at various points to your left. Exit the hole and take out a fourth goon on the platform ahead/right of you. You may have to make your way backwards to be able to see him. With all four guards eliminated, jump on the sandbag next to the hole and jump onto the nearby loading-dock platform. From there, jump on to the scaffolding. Cross the board to the other scaffolding and jump onto the other platform. Make your way up the stairs. You enter a circular room with two doorways - a smaller and a larger. Take the smaller one where you hear a thug conversing with someone, and has a toolbox in it. Open the toolbox and get a generator key. Grab the second painting off the floor near wall opposite the toolbox. Open the door behind the toolbox and pop the thug named Rico. Talk to Frontier on the laptop. When the conversation ends, grab the laptop. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Locate A Mercenaries' Laptop Leave the room and take the remaining larger doorway. You encounter a hostage situation. Cap the guy talking to the hostages, and then another further in. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Rescue Subway Worker Hostages Talk to the hostages. Start the generator. Follow the generator lines out of the room and down the stairs. Take out a thug waiting for you, and then another on scaffolding to your right. A third will be across the divide. A fourth down in the divide. Jump in the crane and rotate the pipe (left thumbstick up-down) so it will be a tunnel allowing you to pass from one platform to the other. You'll also need to move it a little more towards the center of the divide (right thumbstick left-right). Exit the crane and return to the platform. Use the pipe to cross to the other platform. Go through the double doors and cap a guard as the hallway turns left. Grab the third painting. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Collect Two More Paintings Go through the door and up the ladder. Locate Von Laben in the next room and talk to him. Grab a medkit on the floor near the doorway. Follow Von Laben to an exit. You have to open the door, and Von Laben will follow YOU from now on. You must make sure Von Laben doesn't get killed on the way out! Open the door and Immediately go to your left and cap a thug. Turn Left again and continue straight shooting anything that you auto-aim along the way. At the end, turn left and cap another thug. Go straight again to the end BUT HIS TIME BE PREPARED FOR THUGS TO SHOW UP ON EITHER SIDE! You will get at least one each on the left and right. At end, Von Laben will lead you once more. You enter an area with water intermittently falling through. Jump across each right after the water stops and turn off the valve on the walls at each stage. Von Laben follows you. At the end, open the door and enter the room with Von Laben. Turn the valve to jettison yourselves out. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE - Find/Apprehend Christophe Von Laben END LEVEL =================================================== Level 5: CCPD (Century City Police Dept) =================================================== Objectives: - Meet Lucy McClane In Interrogation Room - Avoid Non-Hostile casualties - Free any hostages Start down the garage and prepare to take out some thugs as you near the turn. There will be about four or five. Round the corner and continue all the way down to the next turn. Two more thugs are around the corner. Take them out and you'll pick up a proximity mine. The next corner you take, you'll see a thug attaching a proximity mine to the wall. Take him out, and shoot the mine to detonate it. Continue on down the garage to the security room and pop a thug through the window. Go in the security room and talk to the guard. You get his keys to the armory and a tip on how to unlock that door back where you set off that proximity mine. Open the locker and nab a medkit. Throw the switch on the control panel to unlock the south door. Exit and make your way back to the door and enter it. Proceed through all the halls to enter the atrium area of CCPD. Take cover and systematically take out each guard shooting at you. There will be five of them, all in the overhead balconies. It is often easier and faster to take out those closest to you near the entrance then work your way out for the remaining. Proceed to the staircase and shoot the lock off the gate, Go up the stairs and take out the first guard. Shoot a proximity mine off the wall just past him and on the right. Proceed to next guard and shoot him. The next guard you shoot will be across the bridge. As soon as you hear a helicopter, run to the first doorway on your right and get in the building. If you don't, you will almost certainly die - you can not shoot down the helicopter. Once inside the building, take out the two guards you immediately encounter. Proceed to a turn in the hallway and shoot out a proximity mine in the next hall without going to far in. The mine will likely take out the guard who is setting them just a little farther down. If he survives, take him out but be careful that he might get another mine set just before. Proceed down the hall and go into a meeting room on the left. Take out the two thugs in there looking out the windows at the cops. Look out yourself and watch the scene get ugly. The cops get massacered. Switch on the projector to see a bio of a bomb expert named Nitric. Leave the room. Continue on down hall and after a few turns you see a cop at the top of a stairway. Talk to him and learn that communications have been cut off. Proceed to next room and arm with single 9mm and go into stealth. Dick Thornberg is being held hostage and you need to sneak up and grab the first/closest thug. After grabbing him, the other two put down their weapons. Grab the guns then release your thug. Talk to Thornberg and learn a few things - like the front door is booby trapped with bombs! Objective Complete - Free any hostages [First Checkpoint] New Objectives: - Restore Communications - Deactivate The Bombs - Rescue Von Laben - Rescue Captain Al Exit the room using door across form Dick. Make your way to next room, but chopper will run through and shoot it to pieces. Wait in hall until they are through having their fun. Get medkit from right side of room near windows. Proceed to double doors at other end BUT DON'T GO THROUGH OR GET TOO CLOSE YET! A proximity mine is set on it. Get close enough to trip it and then back away quickly! It goes off opening the door and likely killing the guard on the other side. Go through the door and pop a thug near the railing over the atrium and another near the door. Go through the door and around the wall on the right. You find two thugs holding Al in the room. Shoot the one beating Al first, then cap the other loser. Objective Complete - Rescue Captain Al Al leads you out to take out a few more thugs. You talk to Al to learn that a fellow named Dowd is in holding who can get communications back on line. Al must return because he is hurting, so you go on alone. Cap a thug to your left at the end of the hall. Turn and cap some more thugs in the room to the right at the end of the hall. Grab a medkit off the table where they were congregated. Continue back to the hall and round the corner to see a hall with a staircase going down. Three proximity mines are on the left wall along the staircase - shoot them out and then go down and cap a thug at the end of the hall. Proceed to right and see two thugs trying to get through the locked armory doors. Go down the hall and shoot them. Go into the armory and get a Swat Vest. You also can find a combat shotgun in one of the lockers. Come back and continue down to next hall and take out thug at the end. You can check each observation room along the way, but nothing of note is in them until you get to the first one of the next hall - Lucy is in there with Von Laben. Go to the ID Parade room next door and use the wall intercom to communicate with Lucy. You shoot the glass, then she hits it with a chair, but it does not break. She tells you to shoot the glass at the same time she hits it with the chair. Shoot the glass right at the same time AND place she hits it (don't point towards her though), and when you shoot - the glass breaks. Objectives Complete - Rescue Lucy and Von Laben Go into the room with Lucy and talk to her. Learn that documents were taken pertaining to Von Laben's interview. Lucy gives you the holding cell keys and remains behind to hold Von Laben. New Objective: - Obtain Documents Suitcase Continue on to Holding Cells and talk to prisoners to identify and release Nitric and Dowd. Dowd will get the communications back on and Nitric will open the front doors. [Second Checkpoint] Once the Communications are restored, Nitric disarms the door bombs and escapes. You go out the front doors after him. Objectives Complete - Deactivate The Bombs & Restore Communications Go down the stairs and take out all the goons in the lot. Get the suitcase from behind the scorched and smoking police car. Objective Complete - Obtain Documents Suitcase END LEVEL =================================================== Level 6: Hollywood film Studio =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Non-Hostile casualties - Free Any Hostages - Support Swat - Rescue Lucy McClane - Find Paintings Proceed to lot entry, shoot lock of door to far side and enter. Go to your right and go past injured Swat guy. Turn right and then left towards other Swat team. Immediately nab Shotgun from Slain Swat guy and then back up to talk to the Swat leader. As you talk to Swat leader, you will get a Studio Access Swipe Card. Turn around and go to the far building back the other way. Go around the last corner and pop a thug through the windows on the second floor. Open the garage door of the studio and prepare to take out at least two thugs right away. A lift takes one guard up out of view. Wait for it to come back down to take him out. Another guard is up on a gantry over the set. He falls and goes through the moon set. Climb on the moon set and go find the hole where the guard went through. Wait for dialogue to end and after a few seconds drop through the hole in stealth mode. Arm with single 9mm and grab the thug holding the actors hostage. Walk the thug down the halls to the right and disarm two or three more thugs. Release your hostage and get a medkit from the short hall by the entrance near the last guard you disarmed. Objective Complete - Free Any Hostages Go back and talk to the actors, getting a key from one of them. Exit the moon scene stage and go get on the lift. Throw switch and go up to gantry. Get on gantry and go to far right side to get a medkit. Go all the way to other end and exit a door. Follow hallways to a room containing a castle movie set. Take out two guards on the top when you make your way down the stairs. Go into the castle and strafe out all the walls beyond the entry wall to reveal thugs. With all walls & thugs removed, climb the ladder in the back left. crawl to left and to the back wall over to steps which bring you next to the wall-based walkway. Jump over the railing and onto walkway. Proceed up to door, and go into next building. Follow halls and doorways all the way down taking out two guards along the way. You Eventually reach the hall that goes out to a balcony where the sniper is. Take him out and grab up his gun. It is time to support Swat by providing them cover as they infiltrate the grounds. Go all the way to the other end of the balcony and prepare to take out the first sniper - he will be in the building directly across from you. Use Left trigger to zoom and D-Pad up/down to fine tune. The next sniper arrives on the roof of the building to the left. The third is in the building on right and in back. The fourth comes out on the roof just to the left on the same building. The fifth and last comes out on the water tower to the left. Objective Complete - Assist Swat You can jump off the left side of the balcony, or go back in the building to the office and shoot out the window. Either way, you jump out onto the crash mat below (you may have to crouch first). Go to the back of the lot and meet swat team. Go into room fill of paintings and get the blank MiniGun Ammo near the cameras. Proceed back to far right of lot along camper row, and turn right. Enter the last single door on left. [First Checkpoint] Go through the door to enter a jungle war set. You can pick off two or three guards right away by aiming into the left section of the set. Maybe another on the right. Start across the bridge to have it give out underneath you and you fall in the pit. Turn around and take out the guard. Hit the plunger on the pyro control panel to drop a tree above. Climb up the remainder of the bridge and walk (don't crawl - you'll need to auto-jump) across the tree to get to the other side. Take out any remaining guards who are not holding hostages (should only be one in the back-left corner). There are two methods to free the final two hostages: 1 - use blank minigun ammo and shoot at the guys. Thugs release - shoot. 2 - (harder) From the tree just before the clearing where the hostages are, arm your sniper rifle and zoom in just to the right of the hostages heads. When the thugs heads bob into the crosshairs, fire. This removes both of the goons. Objective Complete - Free Any Hostages Continue out the back of the set and out the doors to the back lot. Shoot the block out from under the camper trailer to send it through the locked gate. Go out to lot and see helicopter lift off from the western set. Take out several thugs to trigger a showdown with Nitric. Take cover and only shoot at Nitric when he is moving around. Killing Nitric ends the level. END LEVEL =================================================== Level 7: Sierra Correctional Facility =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Non-Hostile casualties - Rescue The Prison Warden - Attempt To Capture Nitric - Escape From Prison Wait in your cell in stealth mode (no fists showing) until the guard crosses on the gantry furthest away from you. Run out and come up behind him and grab him. walk him to the empty cell where Nitric was - next to yours. Drop him in there and you get his shotgun, and the can of tuna Nitric left behind also. Switch back from Shotgun to fists, but stay in stealth mode. Slowly make your way down the stairs at the far end after the guard goes around the corner at the foot of the stairs. When you reach the bottom, go into the cell immediately to your left and grab the cigarettes. Then quickly go up behind the guard and grab him. Put him in the same cell where you got the cigarettes. Go to the opposite side and talk to the prisoner in the second cell. Give him a cigarette from your inventory, and he lights one for you. Go down a few more cells and you find one with a horrible looking mattress. Use the lit cigarette on the mattress to start a fire and quickly dart into the empty cell on the opposite side. When the guard from below comes up the stairs end enters the cell, you quickly go down the stairs. Go into the office across the way and open the closet. Get in the closet and shut the door. Watch out the vent to see the guard come back down and sit at the desk. He opens the back gate on the office. Now you come out and sneak out the back gate (still in stealth mode). Wait for the guards to go down the hall then sneak into the room directly across from you (still in stealth mode). Switch on the lift control on the back wall. Go back out and get into the lift/elevator. Hit the up button. Arm with shotgun and return to Combat mode. As elevator reaches the roof, shoot the thug shooting at you. Don't shoot anyone who does not get auto-aimed - should be no one else to shoot here. Make your way to the right and carefully cross on the slats between the glass roof panels. A small explosion in the upper-left of the roof creates a hole to jump down into. Go in the hole and QUICKLY go to your right to find an open vent in the floor. Drop into it. [First Checkpoint] Push the laundry cart directly in front of you to break through locked doors at the end of the hall. Run through the firefight, you can't kill the thugs on the right. Go through the laundry room to the end of the hall and go through the door on the left. Talk to injured guard - learn he needs a medkit. Go on through the door and up the hall. Go through next door and you are on cops side of the firefight you ran through. Turn right and, through the bars, take out as many of the three thugs as you can. Door is locked, but there is a small hall on the left side. Take the doorway and go up the stairs to the top. Take out the two thugs, then go STRAIGHT down the hall. Grab the medkit off the table in the room on the left. Opposite this room is the Armory - you'll come back to this in a minute. Take medkit all the way back to the injured guard and he will give you the Armory locker key. Come back to the Armory and grab the fallen guards ammo, and then get a sweet COMBAT shotgun from the locker. Come back out and proceed up hallway to the first hall to your right. Go down to door on left. Enter storage area and cap some bad guys. Go up ramp to door and cap another goon kicking a guard. Open the garage door via the switch on the wall. Only shoot those who get auto-aimed upon. Shoot thug in the back of the truck and get the medkit from the back of the truck. Exit the truck and dash to the right and back of the lot, shoot only prisoners on the way, go left into the open lot and charge to the back of this lot. Another lot is on your left with two entrances. Take either one and go to the center hall. An explosion erupts. Enter the center hall and go to your left. Take out any prisoners you wish, but you need to get to the ladder on the wall and go up it. Once on the roof, go to your left and jump into the hole blown through the wall. From in the library, you exit the door and go down halls. Take out four prisoners before getting into the elevator. Elevator drops you off at the Insane Asylum. [Second Checkpoint] New Objective - Acquire a SWAT disguise Talk to inmate to get the switch pattern for opening doors. Go into the switch-room inside and to right. Throw first, third and fourth switches up - doors open. Get the medkit from under the TV on the back wall. Go into ward and go all the way through to door on opposite side. Go in door and follow all the way to the room at the end. Shoot the prisoner with a gun on the doctor, then shoot other prisoner. Go back down to holding area and enter empty cell on right with bikini girl poster. Take down poster to uncover a hole in the wall. Crawl through and go up the ladder in other side. In ventilator chamber, turn up the fan to your right and continually walk towards it to prevent being killed by getting blown into the other fan. When fan erupts, go through it to the other side and climb up the next ladder. Here's a fairly tough part. You will likely need to use hero mode. Crawl to end of vent. Press A to open and immediately shoot the cord of the hanging cop to prevent his death. Then shoot all those thugs - about five. Talk to the SWAT guy and acquire a SWAT disguise. Use inventory to select it and wear it. Objective Complete - Acquire a SWAT disguise Go over to the cell below the stairs and throw switch on the panel next to the cell doors. Go up the stairs and circle all the way around to a smoking control panel. Crouch and jump into the vent right behind it. Take vent to the now locked cell, and go out the back side of it. Go out to hall and take out a few scampering bad guys. As you round a corner there are tons of prisoners to take out. When you have cleaned house, go back to a room behind you and nab a medkit off the shelf. Continue on down hall to find a hole in the cage wire. Enter and go down hall straight ahead. As you exit this hall, turn right towards a glass room and take out the thugs inside. Crouch and jump in. Go to double doors to your immediate right and talk to SWAT leader. Continue through double doors behind SWAT guys. Get medkit off shelf in next room and exit the room by the center doorway. Continue through next room to a hallway where three goons wait to greet you. Take them out and go up the stairs. At first landing, go to your right and take out three more goons. Go into the Warden's office and take out two more thugs. Get safe combination from desk or floor and press a at the painting over the fireplace. Open safe behind. Jump and get the keys. Exit Warden's office and continue up the stairs eliminating any thugs along the way. You eventually get to the execution chamber observation area. Enter the stairwell and go straight ahead. Take door to the right and the next door to the right and yet another right to enter the execution chamber. Another good time to use hero mode. After eliminating all the prisoners, free the Warden and he will unlock a door for you. You will be going onto the roof. Objective Complete - Free The Prison Warden [Third Checkpoint] Almost Done! On the roof, take out all the thugs waiting for you. Two to your right, one on the roof directly behind, and two more two your left including one on a roof. Go to the building ahead and grab a medkit. Go into the next roof section with max health for your showdown with Nitric. Keep moving because he will occasionally lob a grenade. Just keep shooting him and watching your health. With Nitric eliminated, the level Ends. END LEVEL =================================================== Level 8: Caesar Tuna Factory =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Non-Hostile casualties - Rescue Any Hostages - Investigate Tuna Factory - Find Lucy McClane Go to your right around the first corner and then peek around next corner to the left. Take out all the thugs. Go to the far side of the lot and open a garage - get the grenades. Go up onto the loading dock and go to the stairs just past the semi. Shoot the thug you can see through the window. Go down the stairs, go to your right and go up the ramp and into the building. Continue through to next door and go through it. Go up the hallway and take out three thugs - two on your left and one on your right. Go down left hall and go through the door. Open the garage door on your right using the panel switch on the wall. Go in and to your right you see a worker getting taunted by two thugs. Quickly enter and pop the two thugs that will be on your left. Enter the door by the now defunct thugs. Go down the hall and enter the last door on the right. Proceed up the stairs to the top and enter the lobby. Stand by the water cooler and take a pop-shot at the farthest of the two doors. Two goons come out to investigate - easy targets. Open the other door and then back away real quick - dumb thug comes out to you again. Cap him and go in and talk to the hostages. You get a key. Go to the other office, shoot out a window on the left and get on the Gantry. Walk to the first door and open it. [First Checkpoint] New Objective - - Find Gruber's Rocket Pop the dolt with the flame-thrower. Go to the end of the Gantry and !SLOWLY! make your way down the boxes! If you aren't careful you will auto-jump down and lose some health! Talk to the hostage. Throw the switch on the crane's control panel directly across from the hostage. Get a medkit behind boxes under the gantry you came in on. Jump back up the boxes and then onto the gantry. Time your auto-jumps to land on the boxes, then onto the opposite gantry. Go into the door. Shoot the guards and then shoot the locks off the barrel cages and let the barrels settle into their positions. Jump across the vat by auto-jumping from barrel to barrel. Go through the next door. Go down the stairs and pop the thug at the bottom. Get the medkit off the barrel at the bottom. Go through the next doors - no thugs - and through the next to pop three more. Go trough the next doors on your right and take out a thug on the floor and another on the stairway landing. Grab the body armor and make your way up the stairs. This next part may require lots of retries. Jump on conveyor and immediately prepare to take out thugs to your left. You can walk backwards against the conveyor motion to sort of maintain a still position while aiming. When you make your left turn on the conveyor, no longer worry about shooting - you need to move forward and jump the two cutters. At the next right turn, you need to take out a few more thugs AND jump a few cutters. At the final turn, jump a cutter and jump onto the exit ramp on the left. Take out the thugs, then jump onto the opposite platform and snag a medkit. Jump back and grab the flame-thrower fuel if you need it, then go through the door by the ramp. Go down the stairs and shoot two thugs. Go through the next door and go down some more stairs. Go through another door to a fish processing room. Use stealth mode to sneak up on the thug meeting. Shoot them all. Get the medkit and asbestos gloves off the table. Open the garage door by using the valve on the wall next to it. Go out. Open the next garage door with valve on wall. Jump to the box in the middle of the pool. Strafe the fish tank with a gun. When the pool is full you can safely jump to the other side. Open the door using the vale. Quickly strafe the fish tank with a gun and then take out a thug on top of the fish tank. Go up the stairs and get the armor on the duct next to the door. Go back down the stairs and open the door using the valve. open next door using the valve. Shoot the thug with the flame-thrower. Open the next valve with the gloves (sign says NO BARE HANDS). Pop the thug in the room. Get the flame-thrower fuel by the garage door. FROM A SAFE DISTANCE - Heat the frozen valve with flame thrower. Change back to a gun quickly before turning valve with the asbestos gloves. Shoot the three thugs in next room being careful to keep yourself away from nitrogen bottles - one stray bullet and you'll be frozen! Get flame-thrower fuel in the previous room and return to next room. Shoot nitrogen next to door in middle section. With door frozen, shatter it with some gun shots. Proceed through. [Second Checkpoint] Open door at end of hall. Take out thug at end of ramp. Proceed to your left and take out two more thugs at end/right of containers. Turn right and take out man with turret gun at next corner. Turn corner and carefully edge your way out to shoot a thug with a rocket launcher on top of the green container in the distance. Be prepared to run backwards if he launches a shot. With rocket launcher dude eliminated, the crane crashes onto the boat and destroys it. Two more thugs come out at ground level near the green container - shoot them and proceed on past them. Take out a few more thugs at the next corner. The last comes out from between the containers after you turn the next corner. Go between the containers and make your way back to an area where you pick up armor and a medkit. Turn around, go back and turn right and you happen upon a hostage situation. Shoot the fish chute to drop fish on the thugs. Shoot the thugs and free the hostages. Objective Complete - Rescue Any Hostages Talk to the hostages and they take you to the warehouse. Jump on the boxes and then the container attached to the crane. Worker lifts you to the window. Shoot out the window and go in. Objective Complete - Locate Gruber's Rocket Go to left edge and drop onto crates until you hit the floor. Look out down containers and pop a thug in the distance. Two more come to you - pop them too. Go around the container to your left and you'll come out next to the last thug. With him eliminated, operate the garage door. You happen upon more thugs loading a truck and ready for your arrival. Use your silenced 9mm and go into stealth mode. Go to your left and follow the outer edge of the building. Wait for the guard who comes around in front of you to pass completely around the next corner and then rush to follow him. He has made another right and is gone. Grab the guard who is standing still straight ahead and eliminate him. Go to the truck and grab and kill the last guard. Get in the back of the truck and hide behind the crate at the very back. Objective Complete - Investigate Tuna Factory END LEVEL =================================================== Level 9: Fernandez Warehouse =================================================== Objectives: - Avert Rocket Launch - Locate Lucy McClane After the thug inspects cargo, make your way to the last crate near the doors of the truck trailer. Wait for a guard to walk past and take him out. Jump out and get his assault rifle and duck behind the tank to your left. Shoot it out with any more thugs who come to you. After shooting all the thugs from behind the tank, make your way back up along the right side of the truck heading toward the truck cab and shoot a thug with a chain gun just beyond the palate stack. Dart over behind the office building to the left side of the truck. Go in the office building and grab a clipboard from the counter inside. New Objective - Destroy sufficient Rocket Fuel Tanks (6 of 10) to Avert Rocket Launch Get a medkit from the back desk. Use main gate control to let in the impatient trucker yammering on the radio. Go out and to your left into the truck yard. No doors are going to let you into the warehouse. You'll have to get in on the roof. Go past the first truck to your left and some boxes and you see a doorway with a ramp on the left. Go up the ramp and jump onto the containers straight ahead. There is also the first of ten rocket fuel tanks on the ground here. Get to a far corner of the tank and shoot the fuel container. Jump onto the semi trailer and then onto the nearby roof. Wait at door for thug to walk by - cap him. Enter door and go left and go all the way to next door. You should be able to take auto-aim on at least three goons around the forklift area without opening the door. Then proceed in and cap any remaining thugs. Another rocket fuel tank is by the garage door to your left as you approach the forklift (two of ten). Cap a bad guy above on the gantry, then make your way to the back-left corner of this lot for a medkit. Come back and operate the switch on the wall under the light. You can stop it when it is furthest up by the boxes you'll need to climb on to reach it, or you can just time your jumps. Jump on box, then on the opposite roof. Thugs will shoot at you through the skylights from below. Cap all three of them, then another on the roof to the right with the ladder and railings. Go into the room below where the thugs were. Grab a medkit off the table and go through the door you can open (the other has a keypad and requires the proper code). Go up the stairs and into the next room. "Lucy" is blown up. Get the clipboard off the table behind what is left of "Lucy". You now have the other door's key code. Go back to it and proceed through. [First Checkpoint] Go into the next room and cap several thugs. Make your way down the stairs and nab any others. Grab a medkit off the desk behind the stairs. Go to next door and witness the famous "dancing thug" scene. Take these two out and continue on. Go through the door and up the stairs to the conference room. A thug awaits you beyond the next door. Nab him and get the medkit of the desk. Continue on until you come out on a balcony over a work area. Several thugs are on the floor below. There is also a third fuel tank. You can clean house with one shot by taking out the fuel (third of ten). Jump down to area below (normally this damages health to jump so far, but it won't here - so much for consistency). Activate the switch by the garage door to your immediate right. Quickly storm into the next room and cap two thugs on the gantry to your far left. Grab a medkit to your right under the fire hose. Shoot the white panel on the wall above the gantry where the thugs were standing. This opens the next door slightly. Crouch and take out as many thugs from here as possible. You can usually get one on the gantry above and right, another on the floor to the left. Sometimes another thug on the gantry left and another on the floor right. Carefully go in and remove remaining thugs. Three more rocket fuel tanks are found in here (four, five and six of ten). Objective Complete - Destroy sufficient Rocket Fuel Tanks (6 of 10) to Avert Rocket Launch With all thugs and rocket fuel tanks eliminated, make your way to the back left corner of the area and start jumping up the boxes to the gantries above. You will literally go all the way to the opposite side on boxes, then all the way back on the gantries (and one board) and then all the way back to the other side again and go through a door. Continue through the short distance to the next door, and once again continue to the next door. You are now in a storage area with a few forklifts. Go to the end of the gantry and jump onto the forklift. Turn around and jump onto the crate with the medkit. Jump off and go around the corner to cap a guard trying to move a rocket fuel tank. Cap guard and tank (seven of ten). Switch on the forklift. Wait for forklift to go by and back up to it's starting point again. With forklift back at starting point, jump on the lift and prepare to shoot a few thugs as it elevates you up and down. When the lift reaches the other end, jump onto the furthest top shelf. Shoot any guards you may have missed and take out the rocket fuel tank (eight of ten). Get back on lift when it comes back and jump forward towards what would be the driver area (towards the two posts) - you need to get higher on the platform. When you are higher up, wait for the lift to take you up to the roof of the center shelves. Make your way to the ladder, climb up and go towards the back along the red-bordered gantry. Go prone and get onto the left ductwork. Follow to the first gap. stand up and jump the gap. Go prone and Continue on to the next gap. stand up and jump the gap. Continue standing and jump the gantry below with the red railings. Shoot out the vent and crawl through. [Second Checkpoint] This may take several tries, but you need to get on the center box behind you and then jump onto the big box being pushed at you. This is easiest done by pushing the box to the wall and then jumping on using the wall to prevent you from over-shooting. With oncoming forklift cleared and disabled behind you, open the garage door and go to the next room. Grab a medkit by the chair to the left of the door. Open the left side door via the switch next to it. New Objective - Initiate Conveyor Belt Pick off the guards on the upper gantries and one or two below. When you go in the room, turn around and pick off the thug on the gantry above/behind you. Get a medkit from the box by the conveyor. Pick off rocket fuel (nine of ten). Go up the ladder to the upper gantry. Optionally go to the right and out to the left and across to another room with a guard in it. Pick him off and get the Rigel Night Vision Goggles. Go back and go up to the open sided gantry area. Note the air balloons near the ceiling above. Shoot the Linux-trademark-looking penguin. Jump onto it as it descends to the appropriate level and immediately jump again to the other side. If you fail, you still have two more tries with the remaining balloons. Switch on the conveyor belt. Go to the far side of the gantry and jump onto the belt. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. You are first transported down a hall - nothing to shoot. Objective Complete - Initiate Conveyor Belt Next you go into a dark room - pick of the final of the ten rocket fuel tanks to your left. This eliminates all the bad guys in the room as well. Nothing in the next short room - but the next has some thugs waiting. Pick off a few to the right before even going all the way in. You can always walk back up the conveyor if you missed a few, but it isn't required. Continue on until the conveyor descends and takes you to the end. Jump off. Grab the medkit off the floor inside last corner of the conveyor. Open the door. Shoot the thug behind the crates. Shoot the fuel tanks through the next open doorway to wipe out all the remaining thugs. Continue on until you come to a garage door with two thugs bickering on the other side. Open the door. Wipe out the thugs. Make your way to the far right and grab a medkit. Take out remaining thugs to trigger a movie scene where Frontier sets his wench Marlin on you. Showdown with Marlin - just unload on her when auto-aim activates. After about three seriously long rounds she falls. Learn that they have taken Lucy McClane to Nakatomi Plaza. Objective Complete - Locate Lucy McClane END LEVEL =================================================== Level 10: Nakatomi Plaza =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Non-Hostile casualties - Rescue Lucy McClane - Apprehend Gruber and Frontier You start outside the Nakatomi Building. You can go straight into the building, or you can stop and talk to Al first. As you enter, the next SWAT team is making their way to the center elevators. Follow behind. The security gates drop. When the SWAT guy yells "It's a trap!", RUN to the other side and turn around. A grenade takes out the SWAT team. Shoot any thugs that are in the center area, then clean out the sides. Take the elevator hall to your left and use the last elevator on the left. The elevator stops on the 22nd floor at the control of Gruber. Get out And make your way down to the reception area. A laptop and a message awaits you. [First Checkpoint] New Objective - Escape the bomb in 15 seconds This appears to be quite different from the Nintendo version. Other walkthroughs tell you can duck at the back of an office. This never works on XBOX. Immediately make your way into the office straight ahead and go all the way to the back. On your right is a Window Washing scaffold. Open the window by pressing A, jump into the cart, and press A to activate it. Look up to catch the explosion. Objective Complete - Escape the bomb in 15 seconds Exit the cart into the room and make your way to the next room. Two thugs await you in the halls - one on the right and one on the left. Take them out through the glass. Exit the room. Go all the way down the hall to your right until it ends. Take the last door on the left and off the thug inside. Grab the medkit. Go back out and down the hall. Take the first right hand hall and come to the elevators. Take first elevator on your left - pop the thug inside. Press the UP button on left and proceed to 23rd floor. Pop the goon waiting for you. Two other thugs come to help - pop them. Keep pressing the UP button and popping thugs on each floor until you get to the 25th floor. Exit the elevator on the 25th floor and immediately pop the thug at the chain gun on the left. Several other thugs exit the elevator to your right - pop them. Make your way up the hall and on your left will be another thug at a chain gun. With him eliminated, go up the hall and turn left where he was standing. Take the exit door. Go in the door to the left and follow the stairs all the way up. Go into the doors and you end up in a hallway. Turn left and go to the end. Spot a guard on the right. Shoot him but stay put. Two others appear at the end of the hall you were in. Shoot them too. Get the High Powered Assault Rifles from them. Find a single (not double) door at the end of a hall that looks slightly different than the others. Go into it and shoot the thug waiting for you. Repeat - open odd door and cap two thugs waiting in halls to your right. Repeat - open the door and cap a thug hiding behind a partition. Open the odd double doors and enter a large room. No thugs are in here and the door at the end is no longer different - just a plain solid door. Prepare for a large gun battle and open the door. Dart to your left to avoid the goon with the chain gun in the room directly opposite you. Pop the three or four goons in this room and slowly make your way to the back. With this room secured, pop into the next doorway and either shoot the thug with the gun, or shoot the ceiling above to drop a live wire on him. Continue on and cap any thugs you encounter. Go through the two sets of double glass doors and take out a thug to your right. Get the medkit on the table (finally!). Exit the two sets of double glass doors in the front of the office. Turn right. Open the odd looking double doors (back to them again). Go to the end and take the exit door on the left. Open door to stairwell and cap the thug on the landing. Proceed up to the top and open the door. Cap the two goons behind the next door and get a walkie-talkie. Go down the hall to the right. Go into the elevator hall and open the odd double doors beyond. Shoot several thugs admiring the models. Open the glass double doors and enter the next room - no thugs. Open the odd single door and enter the hall. Open the first door on left, cap the thug, get the medkit on the right. Proceed next room. Open doors, cap two thugs. Open double glass doors and proceed to the single odd door. Open the door. The partition will drop and two thugs are there. Shoot fast - one of them has a chain gun. Continue on through the next odd door and you come two a set of double glass doors on your left and right. Open the left doors and get the medkit. Go back and open the other glass double doors and shoot a thug guarding the elevators. Take the hall to your immediate left (elevators don't work anymore). Shoot the guard in the simulated rock hall guarding the exit. Go take the exit door prepared for any other guards that may show up down the hall. Take the elevator - press the UP button. [Second Checkpoint] Time to rescue Lucy. Several thugs await your exit from the elevator. One will be straight ahead, the rest to your left. You can usually pick them off one by one from inside the elevator. With the scene secured, go out to the atrium and note the stairway to your left. Go up it and note the room straight ahead with the large glass windows. Shoot out the window straight ahead - this will save you some time later on - you're gonna need to rush back in here and take out a thug to get something off him. Go back down the stairs and take the hall to the far right. Open the odd door on the left and find Lucy rigged with a bomb. A 90 second timer initiates. Grab the nearby medkit now or later. Run back up those stairs, shoot the thug in the room at the top and jump through the window to get the deactivation code off him. Rush back down and get back into the room with Lucy. Press A and the bomb will deactivate. Objective Complete - Rescue Lucy McClane Lucy leads you to the roof - protect her from harm along the way. You go to the elevators. Press the UP button and try to stay ahead of Lucy to take bullets that may otherwise hit her, and shoot the thugs delivering them. With area secured, make your way to the opposite side of the roof and start for the stairs. Movie initiates showing Gruber getting capped and Frontier escaping. Objective Complete - Apprehend Gruber END SCENE =================================================== Level 11: Holmes Observatory =================================================== Objectives: - Avoid Non-Hostile Casualties - Deactivate The Rocket Launchers - Find A Way Into The Observatory - Deactivate (5) Suitcase Bombs - Apprehend Frontier Avoid any mines on the ground (small black discs). Usually easiest to start on the far left taking the sidewalks all the way around to take out the left 2 guards, then without hesitating too long (SAM rocket from roof will sight you in if you stay in one spot too long), work way to front doors while shooting out center two guards and those behind them. Take cover by the front doors and get behind movie signs to take out remaining 2-3 on last side. Slow Motion will trigger when you have taken out the last guard. Shoot out the land mine on the front-right corner of the landing you are on, for safety reasons. Then take out the one at the bottom-right of the steps which go off to your left (near grass). Get the rocket launcher from the area of the two guys right directly across from front doors. Stay in front of doors and arm with rocket launcher. The chopper will come out and hover over the center of lawn where you get an easy shot at it. When chopper is downed, go to far end opposite where chopper crashes and get another rocket from off boxes. Then go get medkit out of chopper before entering door it blew open behind it (you may have to crouch before jumping in chopper to make it easier/faster). Go upstairs, and when reaching top/landing slowly peek out to your left to take out guard(s). Don't peek out so far as to see the SAM rocket launcher or it will home in on you and start firing. When guard is removed, arm with rocket launcher and take out SAM, while being prepared to run back down stairs if it has a chance to launch. With SAM disabled, re-arm with AR and take out next guard to right of SAM. Quickly take up their weapons and collect circuit breaker as well from first guard. Proceed quickly towards far wall to prepare to do this again. At second corner, you will arm with rocket launcher first and not worry about guards yet. This SAM sights you in too quickly to wait. Pop out from wall and sight it in and fire as soon as possible. When SAM is taken out, pop back under cover and quickly arm with assault rifle as guards will now come to you. They are easy work as they come around the wall. Note there is an observatory building in far corner - it is locked so we can't get in there yet. Objective Complete - deactivate The Rocket Launchers You can either (A) take out as many guards from the roof as possible in yard below, or (B) wait until you jump down to yard below jumping from roof over the short wall across from you to another roof just below it. You can zoom in on distant guards using left trigger. Sometimes it is easier to peek and choose one guard to start on and duck back out of fire after you pick him off. This avoids taking major hits from the other guards whilst sighting in the next. Either way, you'll need to make your way down by jumping on the roof just over the short wall. Make your way left on the roof to another roof below that. Then down to the walkway landing. With all guards eliminated, talk to injured security guard, get the master keys and police radio to call Al. Slowly make way around the building in the walkway, the first two guards you take out will have c4 wall mines behind them. The third guard you take out will trigger the remaining guards on patrol in the lot behind him to come up the stairs to you, making easy targets. After shooting out remaining guards, jump the wall at the end of the walkway and find a medkit tucked away between the stair wall and the landing wall. jump back onto stairs and go down to lot. Make your way back up to the roof by shooting the cable that holds the box, climb back on roof using the cable. Make way to observatory in far left corner. After opening door & BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING, equip 'circuit breaker' - you will need to press the controller buttons which correspond to the letters which show up when the bomb becomes armed/activated. Don't panic - just take your time and press them in and you will be fine. You get a medkit in the process. With bomb disarmed, go to next room and turn off power to rocket launchers with machine to your right. Then, using machine on back wall, press A and you will be looking at a camera view of the observatory telescope from outside. Use RIGHT thumbstick to Rotate observatory dome so that the ladder is on roof of the building you are in. Go back outside and around to the back of the building. Climb the steps to the roof and climb to top of the ladder. At top of ladder, jump onto the telescope and walk down in. Equip the circuit breaker again as there is yet another bomb to disarm (second of five) next to the door. Go through the door. Objective Complete - Find A Way Into The Observatory [First Checkpoint] Shoot two guards through the glass of the left door. As you approach the door, shoot a third across from the door. Shoot a fourth to your left upon entering the room. Quickly turn around facing the back of the room and take out the remaining two. Get medkit in right corner before leaving. Open the door at the end of the room and head down the hall. Skip the door on the right - locked. At end of hall to your right you will shoot another guard (sometimes easier to crouch first). Approach the door and you should be able to once again shoot through the window at a guard across the room. Get closer to the door and aim left to shoot a second. Open the door and follow the walkway to the right. You should quickly encounter the third and final guard. Occasionally the third is behind bottom of stairs or somewhere on floor below. Follow the stairs down and around to landing. The only unlocked/unprotected doors are the wooden double-doors. Immediately upon entering these you must get to the far right or left of the lady and get ready to fire ahead, making sure to keep away from the lady as stray bullets may kill her and send you back to the previous checkpoint. DON'T go past the lady until there's nobody left to target ahead. Take out a guard in both left and right hiding areas. Equip the circuit breaker and approach the double doors. There is a bomb on the floor in front of them. Proceed through the doors after disarming the third bomb, make your way down the left hallway to a vent. Shoot out the vent and crawl through to the ledge. Jump on the ladder and make your way DOWN. Open the door proceed down the hall preparing to shoot to the left of the end. A guard sporting a flame-thrower approaches from the left. Immediately after eliminating him, turn to your right and get the second guard. Proceed down the hallway to your left and take out two more guards behind a door in the hallway. Jump the door and proceed to your right. Shoot the guard and continue down the hallway to the very end where a doorway is on the right. DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY IN YET OR YOU WILL TRIGGER BOMB 4! First peek in and to the right just enough to take out a guard. With the guard eliminated, quickly switch to the circuit breaker and go to the middle set of shelves to disarm bomb #4. Then get the medkit in back left of room. Equip the Assault Rifle and head back towards the side hallway you passed on your way to this room. Proceed down the hall taking out any guards you can before entering the room. Once in the room, prepare to shoot the last remaining guards. Go out the door and proceed left to the next door. Go down the stairs and shoot the guard to your right. Shoot all possible guards before proceeding. Enter the generator cage from the left and be prepared to shoot any guards you may encounter along the way - INCLUDING ABOVE. Make your way to the other side and turn left. Duck under the pipes in the middle, crawl through and then proceed back left. There is a medkit behind the last generator. When you get out of the power area, head right and down the hall. Go into the door on your right. Walk down the hall, shoot the guard straight ahead through the door window, then open the door and shoot the guard on your left. Throw the switch on the back-left panel to unlock the dining hall. Turn around and continue straight through all doors, and then left. Go through the double doors. Go up the stairs then STOP at the very top step being careful to not go into the doorway! Wait for the guards to finish their dialogue and quickly storm the room and making your way to the left. Shoot the two guards to the left with the hostages first. A third will approach you from the other side - shoot him last. The fifth and final bomb is in the back of this room, so equip the circuit breaker one last time to disarm it. Objective Complete - Deactivate (5) Suitcase Bombs Exit the room and stand near the top of the stairs. you are unable to get through the next doors on your own, so you will need to shoot the globe down from the room you were just in so as to cause it to roll and crash through these doors. Shoot the globe (making sure you are out of the way). It falls off and rolls through the doors across the hall. The next room contains two guards at machine-gun turrets. Pick them off ASAP! Enter the room, but do so walking BACKWARDS because as you near the opposite end, a slew of guards will come up BEHIND YOU from the hall from where you just were. You will need to shoot them all. As you go through these doors, you end up back in the lobby. Take the only doors that will open. [Second Checkpoint] Go up to the balcony and witness Frontier making his speech. Note that an actor (Galaxy Thief 3 star) is being held here - DO NOT SHOOT HIM! He will always make his escape up the right staircase. Your presence is noticed almost immediately. Quickly make your way to the right staircase railing and shoot the approaching guards. There will be one at the top of both the right and left staircases. The remainder usually come up the staircase on the right. Objective Complete - Avoid Non-Hostile Casualties Make your way down the right staircase and load up on ammo. Grab the medkit from the table against the opposite wall (far left). PREPARE FOR THE FINAL CHALLANGE - CATCHING FRONTIER! Make sure you have maximum health(100) and maximum AR ammo(200) and you have the AR equipped and reloaded! Open the left doors. Proceed right far enough towards the center path on the left (glowing green) that it triggers Frontier and step back. Activate hero time, charge at Frontier and fire away. If you run out of hero time, just make sure to stay out of Frontier's aim while continuing to shoot at him. A twenty-five second timer activates immediately upon your killing Frontier. You must exit the building before it ends! Go up either of the left/right ramps to the upper EXIT. Shoot out the door and continue directly across the room, shoot out the door to get back to the lobby. Proceed to the long row of dark-colored main doors and shoot your way through! Objective Complete - Apprehend Frontier YOU MADE IT! End movie, game credits & cheat codes: Enter these codes at the main menu. When the code has been entered properly, a confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen and you will hear an explosion.
